About the company At Yosemite Crew ( we're creating an open, modern, and compassionate Practice Management System (PMS) designed with and for pet businesses, pet owners and developers. We're not just building software, we're building a community-powered platform that brings transparency, usability, and trust back into the tools vets rely on every day. The role We’re building a global hub of storytellers who can bring humour, empathy, and originality to the everyday challenges of pet ownership especially for dog and cat lovers. This opportunity begins through our online hackathon: “Pet Pains, Fun Gains” - A one-month creative challenge Participants will create short-form, funny, and copyright-free videos inspired by real pet owner pain points. To qualify for this contributor role, you must participate and submit your entry via the hackathon Google Form. Apply through the Hackathon here: What you'll do Collaborate with the open-source creative community to exchange feedback and ideas. Develop original, copyright-free, humorous content suitable for platforms like Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.short-form videos (30–60 seconds) based on real pet owner experiences on daily basis (4 videos per day) Do video editing of our "Testimonial - the series ( What you bring A strong sense of "weird" humor and creative flair. Passion for pets (dogs, cats, or both ). Ability to create and edit short-form videos independently. Understanding of what makes content relatable and shareable. (Bonus) Prior experience with creative projects, or viral content creation. Compensation and perks Culture: 9-9-6 (Intense outcome focused culture) ₹9,000 INR/month for 3 months as a paid contributor role with possibility to convert into full time inbound marketing role Fully remote role Global visibility for your work in an open-source environment.
