TECH HEAD (On Consultative Basis):
Scrap Commerce is currently looking for a Technical Head on Consultative basis with multiple years of experience to drive our tech team. This individual should have a strong background in industry knowledge, trends, and emerging technologies that are relevant to our business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for environmental sustainability and a desire to contribute to the improvement of industrial norms. They should possess the ability to support and guide the tech team through development projects, while staying informed about the latest industry advancements.
This role will be on a consultative basis in a part time manner. The candidate will be required to set up the tech organization consisting of software developers and testers, define the technology roadmap for the company, identify and execute the tech stack, and liaise with the leadership team to maintain focus and project execution.
Technical Head Responsibilities:
Proficient in multiple programming languages and tools.
Skilled in software architecture and design principles.
Familiar with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experienced in SAAS based product development
Experienced in database management and optimization.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Effective problem-solving skills.
Commitment to continuous learning and adaptation.
Knowledgeable about cybersecurity best practices.
Technical Head Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience required is 15-20 years
Relevant Management certification may be required.
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous especially in an early stage startup
Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
Built a technical organization from scratch
Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients.
Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
Should have worked in a greenfield set up where grounds up approach and architecture was required
Should be able to articulate technical roadmap and plans from product development perspective
Should be able to define, design and implement technical architecture
