Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Engineering Lead with a strong emphasis on backend development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background in backend systems, combined with experience in front-end development and leadership capabilities. As the Full Stack Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of our core technology platform, guiding a team of talented engineers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive our product vision forward. This role is a shared resource position, where you will also act as an Engineering Manager for Autodome and Deco, managing two business units effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance web and mobile applications and services, with a focus on backend systems.
  • Oversee the architecture and implementation of robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems using technologies such as Go, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
  • Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native and iOS development frameworks.
  • Implement and manage scalable microservices architectures.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals.
  • Mentor and manage a team of full stack engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the use of best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements into the company's technology stack.
  • Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong emphasis on backend development.
  • Expertise in backend technologies such as Go, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Experience in mobile development using React Native and iOS app development frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of cloud services preferably GCP (or AWS/ Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
  • Deep understanding of scalable architecture and system design principles.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and setting up DevOps practices.
  • Experience managing multiple business units or projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for deeptech and a keen interest in staying abreast of advancements in the field.
