Description


As an Observability Implementation Consultant, primary responsibility is to assist clients in implementing robust observability solutions within their systems and applications. Candidate will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs, assess their existing infrastructure, and design and implement observability solutions that provide actionable insights into system performance, reliability, and security..


Key Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and challenges related to observability.
  • Evaluate clients' existing systems, applications, and infrastructure to identify gaps in observability and areas for improvement.
  • Design comprehensive observability solutions tailored to clients' needs, considering factors such as scalability, complexity, and budget constraints.
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of observability tools and platforms, including but not limited to monitoring systems, logging frameworks, distributed tracing, and metrics aggregation.
  • Customize observability solutions to align with clients' unique environments and integrate them seamlessly with existing systems and workflows.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to client teams to ensure they can effectively utilize and maintain the observability solutions.
  • Continuously optimize observability solutions to enhance performance, reliability, and resource efficiency.
  • Document the implemented solutions, configurations, and best practices, and generate regular reports to update stakeholders on the status and performance of observability initiatives.
  • Offer ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to address any issues or challenges encountered by client’s post-implementation.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in system administration, software development, or DevOps roles.
  • In-depth understanding of observability concepts, tools, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in deploying and configuring observability tools such as Dynatrace, DataDog, Kafka, BMC, AppDynamics, NewRelic, Azure Monitoring, DataDog, SolarWinds, ITRS-Uptrends Influx DB, Telegraf, Kapacitor, and Grafana TICK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Jaeger, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Observability Engineer) are a plus.
