Production ManagerJob Summary:The QC/Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing production processes, ensuring compliance with quality assurance plans (QAP), and coordinating with workers to execute production plans efficiently. The role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing standards, quality control procedures, and process optimization for water and wastewater treatment plant components.Key Responsibilities:Production Planning & Coordination:Study and analyze production schedules, drawings, and technical specifications.Communicate production plans and assign tasks to workers based on the requirements.Monitor daily production activities and ensure timelines are met.Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams for raw materials and components.Resolve technical or operational issues that arise during production.Quality Control & Assurance:Ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards and QAP requirements.Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process manufacturing, and finished products.Maintain and update quality control records as per company and regulatory requirements.Identify and document any non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.Work closely with the design and R&D teams to ensure product quality enhancements.Documentation & Compliance:Maintain proper records of production outputs, inspections, and quality reports.Ensure compliance with ISO, ASME, or other relevant standards for water and wastewater treatment plants.Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and reports.Train workers on quality control standards and production best practices.Process Improvement & Safety:Identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce wastage.Ensure adherence to workplace safety guidelines and environmental regulations.Implement best practices in manufacturing to improve product quality and consistency.Participate in troubleshooting and failure analysis to minimize defects and rework.Qualifications & Skills:Education:
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.Experience:
2-5 years in production/QC manufacturing or engineering industry.Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, piping, and material selection.Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ASME, and ASTM.Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.Proficiency in MS Office and quality management tools.Strong communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.Understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards.
