Requirements and responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that meet our clients' requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
What you'll do:
Develop, test, and maintain efficient and reliable Java/Kotlin code based on specifications and project requirements.
Collaborate with the team to design and implement software solutions that meet client needs.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
Integrate Java applications with external systems and third-party libraries.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to current projects.
Perform unit testing and support integration and system testing efforts.
Collaborate with the team to identify and implement software improvements and optimizations.
Document software designs, technical specifications, and project requirements.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to other team members and clients as needed.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's /Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Typically, 6+ years of relevant professional experience in software development, with a demonstrated progression of responsibilities and accomplishments.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
Strong knowledge of Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.
Proven experience in developing Java applications using frameworks such as Spring, Spring boot.
Proficient in database technologies like MongoDB
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and related technologies like Spring Boot.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
