Post: Assistant Professor (Management Operations & Production)Qualification: PhD/ MastersExperience: min 3+ yrsReporting to: PrincipalGeneral Responsibilities:Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learningProvide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learningMinimum 20 hours teaching load per week.Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedbackMaintain a tidy and orderly classroomCollaborate with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetingsPlan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and eventsObserve and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.To set, evaluate, and mark students’ course work, homework and other assignments promptly, and to record marks on College systems as requested, in accordance with the College Assessment and Marking Policy and procedures.To carry out formative and summative assessments as appropriate.To complete associated and administrative tasks to deadlines, as directed.To induct students appropriately, to provide academic advice, counseling, educational guidance, and tutorial support to students, including individual learning plans as directed.To supervise students’ attendance and behaviour and follow up as appropriate, in accordance with the College Behaviour and Attendance policies.To undertake any reasonable duties as required.
