The IT Technician will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting a range of technological needs at our contract development manufacturing facility and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT-related aspects of manufacturing processes. Successful candidates will have a passion for technology and a keen eye for detail.Provide on-going technical support for all IT activities, issues, troubleshooting, and maintenance for a range of systems, servers, network systems, hardware, software, and so on.

Plan, execute, and document IT maintenance activities as per set in standard operating procedures.

Install IT equipment including but not limited to enclosures, cameras, UPSs, etc.

Run CAT6 cabling to new equipment.

Responsible for the installation of new software and servers to support on-going business needs.

Serve as first responder to any IT issues and/or emergencies.

Effectively troubleshoot and monitor all required systems.

Manage IT asset organization. Develop and implement IT asset management strategies.

Manage password database.

Manage and analyze data. Create reports utilizing data results from various platforms.

Collaborate with IT contractors and senior team members to assist in larger IT related tasks and projects.

Serve as liaison with IT contractors when needed.

Ensure adherence to required safety protocols and procedures.

Proactively maintain IT requirements in order to ensure minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.

Maintain accurate records and documentation. Develop SOPs and other required documentation for managing/maintenance of IT resources.

Support facilities maintenance documentation review and coordination as related to redlining drawings, change controls, preventative maintenance etc. ensuring compliance and audit readiness.

Ensure proper backup practices are followed and manage backup procedures.

Support quality events and validation activities as needed related to IT resources.

Assist in the cleaning and storing of required IT equipment.

Responsible for training and delegating tasks for Level I Technicians.

Additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

Associate degree or higher in related IT discipline.

2-5 years of experience in IT support is required, preferably within a manufacturing or regulated environment.

Experience with Siemens systems is a plus.

PLC programming experience is a plus.

Proficient in various hardware and software systems maintenance and troubleshooting.

Proficient in technical writing and documentation. Experienced in writing and reviewing required records and documentation.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Strong organizational skills to self-direct and manage multiple priorities and projects.

Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements is a plus.
