Job Title: Human Resources Assistant
Location: New Delhi
Purpose:
A Human Resources Assistant role in the Think Tank industry at Chintan Research Foundation involves managing all HR functions, from recruitment to employee relations. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on fostering a positive work environment and driving HR initiatives.
Experience:
4-7 years of experience in Human Resources roles, preferably in the Think Tank industry.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Administer HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor regulations.
Oversee employee relations, including resolving conflicts and managing performance issues.
Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees and management.
Handle employee benefits administration and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Participate in HR projects such as diversity and inclusion initiatives and employee engagement programs.
Collaborate with department heads to understand their HR needs and provide strategic HR support.
Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
Certification Required:
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
Behavioural Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in HRIS software and MS Office applications.
Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
Experience with performance management systems.
Understanding of HR best practices and industry trends.
