Credit Manager

JobDescription: Credit Manager in Home Loan andLAP

Responsibilities:

• CreditAssessment: Evaluate creditworthiness of home loanand LAP applicants based on financial documents credit history andrisk analysis.

• Underwriting: Review loanapplications ensuring compliance with lending policies regulatoryrequirements and internal guidelines.

• Decision Making: Make informed decisions on loan approvals rejections ormodifications considering factors such as applicant'sincome debttoincome ratio collateral and credit score.

• RiskManagement: Identify potential risks associated withloan applications and develop strategies to mitigate them ensuringa balanced loan portfolio.

• Client Communication: Communicate credit decisions to applicants and provide explanationsfor denials or requests for additional information.

• Collaboration: Work closelywith sales operations and legal teams to streamline the loanapproval process and resolve any issues that may arise.

• PolicyDevelopment: Contribute to the development andrefinement of lending policies procedures and credit scoring modelsto enhance efficiency and risk management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in financeaccounting or related field. Master's degreepreferred.
• Proven experience in creditassessment and underwriting specifically in the home loan and LAPsegment.
• Strong understanding of lendingprinciples credit analysis techniques and regulatoryrequirements.
• Excellent analytical skills withthe ability to interpret complex financial data and make sounddecisions.
• Effective communication andnegotiation skills with the ability to interact confidently withclients and internal stakeholders.
• Attentionto detail and ability to work efficiently in a fastpacedenvironment.
• Knowledge of industryspecificsoftware and tools used for credit analysis andunderwriting.
