Software QA Engineer

At E2open, you will be an integral member of a dynamic organization, working on cutting-edge technology that transforms the way companies do business with their trading partners in complex, multi-tier supply chains. Currently, E2open is seeking an energetic Software QA Engineer to join our Research & Development Group. This position involves the development of leading-edge Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) supply chain management applications that drive complex multi-company supply chain management dashboards, workflows, and business-to-business supply chain data interchanges.


Responsibilities

  • must have a proven working knowledge of Quality Assurance best practices including but not limited to governance, test management and automation tools and industry-standard quality measures.
  • SQA Engineer will work to minimize manual testing by identifying high-ROI test cases and automating them.
  • writing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts for APIs, platforms and UI software components.
  • creative engineer is encouraged to make recommendations to improve product reliability, code coverage, performance, and quality assurance best practices/processes.


Qualifications

  • degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering equivalent
  • of 3 years experience in QA and Test Automation, preferably with Java and web applications.
  • organized and possess critical thinking with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • to demonstrate good analytical problem-solving abilities and strong leadership aptitude
  • to work at both abstract and detailed levels
  • be fluent in English, and have strong communication skills.
  • self-starter who likes to work as part of a team


Technical Requirements


  • 3+ years of experience
  • knowledge and be able to execute queries on any relational database
  • with QA Automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Junit, Test NG, JMeter,
  • a good understanding of BDD/TDD concepts / Cucumber framework
  • of and experience using AWS (preferred).
  • Jenkins or similar CI/Build systems, version control systems like SVN, GIT
  • to work within agile process – scrums, sprints.
  • in UI Automation, API automation
  • creating SQA validation artifacts
  • interpreting and analyzing stories or requirements to create effective scenarios
