Network Engineer

Role & responsibilities
Network Design and Architecture: o Develop and implement network architecture and design strategies to support business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. o Design and implement WAN/LAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks, to optimize network performance and availability.
Infrastructure Deployment and Maintenance: o Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of server infrastructure, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure). o Ensure the integrity and availability of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, operating systems, and middleware.
Network Security and Compliance: o Implement and enforce network security policies, protocols, and best practices to protect data, systems, and infrastructure from unauthorized access and cyber threats. o Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing; implement remediation measures as necessary to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization: o Monitor network and infrastructure performance, analyze network traffic patterns, and optimize network configurations to ensure efficient operation and resource utilization. o Configure and maintain network monitoring tools and dashboards to proactively identify and address performance issues and outages.
Team Leadership and Development: o Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of network engineers and infrastructure specialists, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
