Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage Power BI (PBI) environments with strong capabilities or the ability to become a PBI expert
  • Develop and maintain operations reporting tools, including usage reports, model reports, and other relevant documentation.
  • Collaborate with the VIP team to ensure seamless platform operations and address any issues that arise.
  • Implement and manage DevOps practices for Databricks, ensuring efficient and reliable data processing workflows.
  • Monitor platform performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Automate and streamline operations and processes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on platform administration and DevOps practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in platform administration and DevOps development.
  • Primary Skill - Strong experience with Power BI (PBI) administration and management with good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in building operations reporting tools, such as usage reports and model reports.
  • Experience with Databricks and implementing DevOps practices. PowerApps experience is a good to have.
  • Familiarity with other data analytics and visualization tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Experience in the Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals industry is a plus but not required
