Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Head of SEO Strategy to lead our search engine optimization efforts across all facets including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling organic growth, managing budgets, and forecasting revenues. As a leader, you will build and mentor a high-performing SEO team, driving our company to the forefront of organic search visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy that aligns with our business goals, focusing on improving our website's visibility and organic search rankings.
  • Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor an SEO team divided into on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct regular SEO audits, monitor website performance, and adjust strategies based on analytics and search engine updates.
  • Budget Management: Manage the SEO budget efficiently, allocate resources wisely, and forecast future needs to ensure optimal ROI.
  • Revenue Forecasting: Work closely with the finance and marketing teams to forecast SEO-driven revenues, contributing to the company’s financial planning.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all facets of our web presence.
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of SEO trends and competitor strategies to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress, performance, and ROI of SEO initiatives.

Key Skills:

  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members.
  • SEO Expertise: In-depth knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) and web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools).
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop strategic plans based on data analysis and business goals.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate SEO strategies and results to stakeholders.
  • Budget Management: Experience managing budgets and forecasting revenues in a digital marketing context.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing SEO landscapes and algorithm updates.


Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in SEO, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling an SEO team.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing effective SEO strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem and how SEO fits within it.
