Location: Remote (Overseas candidates welcome) Job Type: Full-Time | Remote About Us We are a California-based electrical and low-voltage contractor specializing in design-build solutions for commercial and government projects. Our scope includes electrical power systems, security cameras, access control, structured cabling, audiovisual systems, and automation. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a multidisciplinary professional who combines strong technical knowledge with organizational and design skills to support the full project cycle—from estimating and proposal development to project coordination and drawing documentation. Position Overview This position is ideal for a technically driven professional who enjoys working across the full life cycle of a project. You will develop estimates, manage awarded projects, and produce technical drawings that ensure accurate execution and clear communication with clients, vendors, and field teams. You’ll collaborate closely with our engineering and construction teams to translate design concepts into precise cost and technical deliverables—bridging estimation, execution, and CAD design in one cohesive role. Key Responsibilities Estimating & Technical Proposal Development Review project drawings, specifications, and RFPs to prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals. Perform quantity takeoffs for electrical and low-voltage systems (lighting, power, CCTV, access control, data, AV). Develop material, labor, and subcontractor pricing strategies for competitive and profitable bids. Work with procurement and sales to align pricing, scope, and client deliverables. Project Delivery & Coordination Oversee project execution from award to completion—managing timelines, budgets, and documentation. Coordinate between design, field, and vendor teams to ensure smooth implementation. Track submittals, RFIs, and change orders to maintain compliance and project alignment. Support client communication and ensure project quality meets U. S. standards and safety codes. CAD Design & Documentation Develop and update CAD drawings, riser diagrams, single-line diagrams, and as-built layouts. Incorporate redlines and field markups into final design packages. Ensure all designs comply with NEC, NFPA, BICSI, and TIA/EIA standards. Support proposal visuals and design coordination through precise technical drafting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical and/or low-voltage contracting. Proven experience delivering projects in the U. S. market (commercial, industrial, or government). Proficiency in Auto CAD (Revit a plus). Familiarity with estimating tools such as Bluebeam, Accubid, or equivalent. Strong understanding of U. S. codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, Title 24, BICSI, TIA/EIA). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple active projects and meet deadlines under pressure. Compensation & Benefits ???? Attractive Compensation Package – rewarding expertise and contribution. ???? 100% Remote Flexibility – work from anywhere while supporting U. S. projects. ???? Career Growth Potential – opportunities to advance within a growing company. ???? Collaborative Team Culture – supportive colleagues and streamlined workflows. ???? Exposure to High-Profile Projects – commercial, government, and design-build environments.
