Commercial Lead-TMU

Complete ownership of Commercial activities at unit level Issuance/planning of PO after getting 3 monthly requirements from EMD, 1 month firm & 2 months rolling plan To maintain better co-ordination with TMU stores head for procurement & availability of PM. Development of Vendors/Vendor ManagementTo look after export dispatches, this is tie up unit and it is a part of EMD (Emerging market Division) To keep control on inventoryTo manage material resources to meet production targets. Maintaining stock of PM & ensuring zero breakdown of production due to unavailability of PM (Packaging material). Ensuring efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution and management. Preparations for various audits being done from time to timeCoordination with all the stakeholders like production department, Quality department, Security, Vendors/suppliers, Transporters etc. Ensure timely payments of vendors, transporters & TMU’s are cleared as per timeline.Adhering to plan & procurement approved by the top management/unit head.

LMU Responsibilities

All the inbound & outbound activities. Responsible for day-to-day activities through Delta, NewGen, TMS, SAP and online state excise portal. Follow up the material with the suppliers to ensure delivery on time for production. Responsible for initiating STO/PO/service PO etc. Responsible for timely initiating/raising fund request for Statutory payment/Excise Payment/vendor’s advance payment/through Newgen. Organize the timely movement of material within the unit to ensure smooth operations. Collaborated with department managers on planning related matters. Ensure that timely quality checks of PM are carried out by Quality department. Ensure that approved materials are given to production department based on their requirement. Implementing systems to avoid situations like over stocking and Out of Stock which cause production and financial losses. In case if any rejection materials from stores interaction with quality control department. Get the report and send back to the vendors. Vehicle planning for both Inbound/outbound. Responsible to make sure the PM/RM availability as per production requirement. Finding vendors/quotations for scrap sale. Reconciliation of Transporter detention Bills/IMFL Breakage calculation etc for timely settlement of transporters outstanding. Availability of market bottle Coordination with all the stakeholders like production department, Quality department, Security, Vendors/suppliers, Transporters etc. Ensure the payments of vendors, transporters & TMU’s are cleared as per timeline. Adhering to plan & procurement approved by the top management/unit head.

Reporting

• Prepare timely and accurate reports on availability of resources• Report current expenditure and utilization of resources
• Implement contingency plan for fluctuations in demand
• Unit Head for preparation of daily & monthly MIS
• Prepare updated database on vendor, pricing, and manufacturer informationPlan Vs Actual, Accuracy, Timeliness
