Personal Assistant to the Director of Boarding Position Type School Operations Commence Date 12 Jan 2025 Employment Status Permanent / Ongoing FTE/Hours per week Full Time Year Levels Secondary Subject(s)/Grade Grade 5 Role Details Personal Assistant to the Director of Boarding Marcellin Campus (Years 10-12), Somerton Park Permanent position, commencing in January 2026 ESO - Grade 5 37.5 hours per week, with occasional reasonable overtime 45-42 weeks per year (negotiable) The College operates a co-educational Boarding House serving students from regional, rural, and remote communities across South Australia and interstate. Boarding provides a safe, structured and welcoming home where young people are known, supported and encouraged to grow in independence within a high-trust, relationship-centred environment. The Personal Assistant to the Director of Boarding ensures the smooth and professional operation of the Boarding House by providing high-level administrative, organisational and relational support. The role coordinates essential processes that underpin student care, enrolments, communication, staffing and major events. Working closely with the Director of Boarding, the Boarding Leadership Team, the Registrar’s Office and other College departments, the position helps maintain a well-run, welcoming and reliable Boarding House that meets the needs of boarders and their families. The successful applicant must complete our child-safe screening processes, including holding a working with children clearance.
