Job Title: Safety OfficerExperience: 5 – 10 YearsCTC: ₹5 – ₹6 LPALocation: Mylapore, ChennaiQualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent certificationRole Overview:We are hiring an experienced Safety Officer to oversee and implement safety measures at our residential and commercial high-rise construction sites. The candidate will ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and foster a culture of safety among all workers and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and risk assessments.- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and enforce corrective actions.- Ensure safety in high-risk activities: work-at-height, scaffolding, crane operations, etc.- Conduct daily toolbox talks, inductions, and ongoing safety training.- Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and implement preventive measures.- Maintain statutory safety documentation and ensure legal compliance.- Ensure PPE usage, fire safety measures, and emergency preparedness.- Coordinate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.Desired Candidate Profile:- 5–10 years of experience in safety roles within construction (residential/commercial high-rises).- Strong understanding of local safety laws and construction site hazards.- Certification in NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA / ISO 45001 or equivalent is preferred.- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
