Responsibilities

  • Overseeing end to end finance operations including USA/Canada/EMEA clients
  • Managing AP, AR and Cash Management functions, Tax accounting, General ledger, International Taxes, Account Reconciliation, Payroll, ACH of the businesses in USA/Canada
  • International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Manage US Client and support invoice processing team for queries resolution
  • Arrange and process various regulatory form for US e.g. W2,C2C,1099 etc.
  • Preparing financial statements & records and updating to Berlin Head office
  • Looking to make improvements to procedures & controls
  • Assisting in preparing month end management accounts in a presentable manner for the top level management
  • Preparation of various reports for financial analysis.
  • Managing the Accounts Payables function, end-to-end
  • Process all purchases (supplier invoices) and refunds (credit notes)
  • Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts as well as reconciling supplier accounts/resolving queries
  • Dealing with contractor account queries via telephone, email and fax and resolve queries promptly
  • Sending out remittance advices and entering cost for vendors
  • Mentoring the new joiners in the department, inducting them on processes, and mentoring as needed
  • Handling Inter Company billing proficiently and timesheet processes for USA/Canada clients
  • Keeping track of adjustments for succeeding payrolls and preparing necessary files and reports.
  • Smooth coordination between Berlin office and offshore finance team
  • Dealing with contractors at front end as well as following up with them for their issues and their working hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented and analytical
