Responsibilities- Lead and manage maintenance operations for injection moulding machines, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules.- Ensure timely troubleshooting and repair of moulding machines and related systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical).- Plan and execute machine overhauls, mould change setups, and utility maintenance (chillers, compressors, cooling towers, etc.).- Maintain equipment history, breakdown analysis reports, and spare parts inventory.- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to ensure smooth and continuous operations.- Identify areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and energy efficiency.- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards.- Manage and develop a team of maintenance engineers and technicians.- Liaise with OEMs and vendors for technical support, AMC, and spare procurement.- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant expansion projects.Qualifications- Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.- Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in maintenance of injection moulding machines in an automotive or manufacturing setup.Required Skills- Expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC systems.- Strong knowledge of moulding machines- Familiarity with preventive maintenance tools and software.- Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949, TPM, and Kaizen practices.
