Location: Bangalore or Hyderabad.


Mode of work: Hybrid


Job Specification:

As a Senior DevOps Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our DevOps infrastructure. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers and work closely with development and operations teams to streamline our software delivery processes and ensure high availability and scalability of our online web applications.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps processes and tools.
  • Develop and implement best practices for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure automation using Jenkins, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
  • Manage and optimize our Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment, including EC2, RDS, and other services, to ensure cost-effectiveness, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle and automate deployment pipelines.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring high availability and performance of our online web applications.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance our DevOps processes and infrastructure.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage databases, including MySQL and MongoDB, and ensure their performance, availability, and reliability.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps roles, with a focus on managing DevOps processes and infrastructure.
  • Deep experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, RDS, and other services.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
  • Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
  • Experience with online web applications and managing high-traffic, scalable systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
