The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:  Job Summary In this role engineer will work independently and as a part of a team to design, implement and test CS software solutions for various customers in the domain of Power, Oil & Gas. industries.In This Role, their Responsibilities Will Be: Collection and review of project inputs from the customer site through e-mail, kick off meeting, site survey. Primarily Execute CS retrofit projects, with occasional greenfield too Software and hardware engineering and configuration Ability to read electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs), P&IDs and switchboard control logic drawings. Retrofit- To implement controls from old logics from systems like Alspa P320, Ovation, Toshiba, Yokogawa, Allen bradely, Rx3i etc GreenField -To implement controls from SAMA, functional diagrams, or functional descriptions. Modifications of CS graphics; creation of faceplate macros, control macros and their testing Creation/modification of CS internal point database; extraction of HW IO list from customer drawings; preparation of database; querying with HW team and customer for any clarifications needed. Preparation and guiding the team on IO list. Experience of building blocks of CS system like various Binary gates, A/M stations, PIDs etc. and their testing Implementation of analogue and digital simulation logic for first pass and tie-back simulation testing of implemented controls and graphics Guide the drafting of HW engineering drawings like system architecture, general assembly (GA) and network architecture. Configuration on 3 rd party protocols (Modbus, Profibus, OPC etc.). Engagement in customer demos, FATs, SWAT activities Working knowledge of industrial standards like IEEE, IEC, NEC, and Grid codes Understands and has aptitude to follow strict procedural guidelines and adherence to standards. Has penchant for preparing design and test documents. Quality Control & Assurance Implementation of QMS processes/documentation as & when required throughout the project. Adopts to quality requirements and Customer’s regulatory guidelines Following department Quality HSE processes and procedures Practices and promotes First time right approach. Strictly follows GDP (Good Documentation Practices). Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience exclusive in CS system software configuration and testing while working for a engineering organisation; PLC configuration knowledge preferable. BE/BTech in Instrumentation/ Electronics or any related or equivalent field. Basic understanding of networking protocols and concepts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in MarkVIe CS is preferred. Other CS can be of Honeywell, Yokogawa, ABB, Emerson etc.
