BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - CYBERSECURITY


The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of our cybersecurity services in the Indian market. This role requires a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, strong sales acumen, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be proactive, strategic, and possess a proven track record in business development and sales within the cybersecurity industry.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and opportunities within the Indian market.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy tailored to the cybersecurity needs of the Indian market.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging threats to inform strategic decisions.


Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and target key decision-makers in potential client organizations.
  • Generate leads, build a robust sales pipeline, and convert prospects into clients.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase our cybersecurity solutions.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.


Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and support of cybersecurity services.


Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.


Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and technical teams to align sales efforts with company objectives.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and services.
  • Mentor and support junior sales team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the cybersecurity services industry in India.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity services, solutions, and market dynamics in India.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network of contacts within the Indian business community, particularly in sectors vulnerable to cyber threats.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
