What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot)
- Optimise system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and QA
- Contribute to code reviews and best practices to ensure code quality
What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience in backend software development
- Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., React, JavaScript) is a plus
