Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Acquisition: Actively identify, prospect, and acquire new clients (SMEs, small businesses, etc.) in the assigned territory who are in need of unsecured business loans. This includes cold calling, field visits, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and providing suitable financial solutions. Serve as the primary point of contact from initial inquiry to loan disbursement.
- Product Knowledge & Consultation: Deeply understand our unsecured business loan products, including interest rates, tenure, eligibility criteria, and documentation requirements. Effectively explain product features and benefits to potential clients.
- Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for loan disbursement and new client acquisition.
- Documentation & Application Processing: Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all required documents are collected accurately and submitted in a timely manner. Coordinate with the credit and operations teams to facilitate smooth processing and quick approvals.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices. Provide feedback to the management team to help refine product offerings and sales strategies.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress using the company's CRM system. Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Sales Manager.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: (Insert required experience, e.g., 1-3 years) of proven field sales experience, preferably in the financial services industry, with a focus on loans, insurance, or other financial products. Experience with unsecured business loans is a significant plus.
- Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills. A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Self-Motivation: Highly driven, proactive, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other sales-related tools.
