Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Pre-underwriting, Loan Processing, Mortgage Underwriting or Post Close Underwriting.
experience in loan auditing, preferably in banking or financial services environment.
understanding of Australia, USA, or UK lending regulations is essential for this role.
analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
with loan origination systems and other relevant software applications.
to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
and verifying loan applications and supporting documentation.
loan underwriting decisions against established lending criteria and guidelines.
any deviations from policies or procedures and investigate root causes.
comprehensive feedback to credit officers regarding audit findings and areas of improvement.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of loan underwriting processes and procedures.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with evolving standards
