Roles & responsibilitiesHands on experience in LINUX & Oracle applicationsIn-depth knowledge of one or scripting languages. Preferably Shell or PerlIn-depth knowledge of one or more programming languagesHands on experience in Weblogic ServerHands on experience in JMS messaging. Preferably ActiveMQExperience with LDAP/AD authentication mechanismExperience in L3 Production Support in Utilities domain would be plus .Testing Application/Network protocols and ensuring stable and secure server connectivityPerform, enhance and tune SQL queries, if applicable, and system related documentationTest, implement and track custom developed enhancements, interfaces, portals, functions, queries and stored proceduresExperience with Detailed knowledge of IT principles, methods, and practices in the assigned in the public gas Utility area - prior experience with ABB Service Suite implementations is highly desirableInstall, configure, test and implement software applications, releases, patches and fixes.Hands on experience in the implementation of performance monitoring principles and methodsMaintain application configuration parameters and system related documentationFamiliarity with Agile and all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Experience delivering technical documentation and proceduresExperience designing systems security methods and proceduresPerformed analysis using a variety of analytical methodsProficiency in information and data managementExtensive experience in system design and application developmentKnowledge of quality assurance principles, processes and testing requirementsMobile Work Management solutions experience, Mobile solutions on Windows devices.Experience with the following is a plus: ABB Service Suite 9.7/9.8, GPS, Mobile GIS, SCCM, ALM, VB.Net, and Mobile DevicesKnowledge on Defect Management tools and Incident management process.Ability to investigate and troubleshoot issues.Exposure to Problem Management
