Job Description : Cloud Architect

As a Cloud Architect you will be at the forefront of designing and developing applications with a focus on cloud-native solutions. You will play a critical role in migrating legacy APIs to the cloud, utilizing a variety of technologies and frameworks.


Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage a team of cloud consultants with expertise in Enterprise Architecture, DevSecOps, SRE, API/Microservices, Full stack software engineering and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

Implement strategies to minimize microservice disruptions.

Drive DevSecOps best practices and monitor server performance with key metrics to plan and conduct early security testing and set service performance objectives (SLAs, SLOs).

Develop and execute project plans in line with client needs, timelines, and budgets.

Oversee project financials and maintain project margins/profitability.

Foster a collaborative team environment, proactively mitigate risks, and ensure client satisfaction.

Present technical solutions and strategic insights to C-level executives.


Must-Have Skills :

  • Proven success in complex cloud consulting engagements.
  • Expertise in DevSecOps, SRE, API design, and implementing microservices architecture.
  • Solid background in .Net/Java solutions architecture and Microservice API development.
  • Proficiency in major public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), with multi-platform experience being advantageous.
  • Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and build strong client relationships.
  • Must have managed 2-3 programs, ensuring architectural integrity and solution quality.
  • Handle financial aspects of projects, ensuring effective stakeholder communication.
  • Manage multiple squads, utilizing burndown charts for project tracking.
  • Prioritize and refine user stories, balancing time and quality for feature delivery.
  • Promote continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
  • Experience in building cloud solutions for API applications using native or platform-specific services (Java/.Net).
  • Financial management experience in technology projects and executive-level communication.
  • Demonstrated leadership in delivering projects within budget and time constraints
