JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Backend Development

  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable APIs and backend services using Laravel.
  • Implement and maintain data architecture to support real-time, high-load applications.
  • Integrate backend services with MySQL and MongoDB databases, ensuring efficient data access, security, and integrity.


Database Management

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain complex queries and data structures within MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Manage data migration, backup, and restoration tasks, ensuring data availability and security.


AWS & Cloud Infrastructure

  • Architect and manage AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and other AWS services.
  • Optimize and automate cloud deployment, scaling, and monitoring using DevOps practices.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).


Performance Optimization & Security

  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in backend systems to ensure maximum performance and reliability.
  • Implement security best practices to protect data and maintain compliance with relevant standards.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: 5+ years in backend development with a focus on PHP/Laravel.


SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Laravel framework and PHP.
  • Strong experience with relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
  • Expertise in AWS services and cloud-based architecture.
  • DevOps experience, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and performance optimization.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages like Python, Javascript, Nodejs.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging frameworks.
