Job Description :


- Lead projects for migrating SAS code and processes to Python, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption.

- Oversee the entire migration lifecycle, from planning and execution to testing and deployment.

Troubleshooting and Optimization :

- Diagnose and resolve data migration issues and ensure data integrity throughout the transition.

- Explore and utilize Python packages to optimize business processes, enhance performance, and solve complex problems.

Technical Expertise :

- Develop and maintain Python code, translating SAS code into Python while ensuring functional equivalence.

- Leverage appropriate technologies and statistical modeling techniques to support business requirements.

Collaboration and Documentation :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and ensure successful project outcomes.

- Document code, processes, and technical specifications comprehensively.

Agile and Development Practices :

- Apply Agile methodologies to manage migration projects and deliver solutions iteratively.

- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) to ensure high-quality code and reliable results.

Qualifications :

Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python programming and SAS code development.

- Experience with SAS to Python code conversion is highly advantageous.

- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Python and its packages for data analysis, statistical modeling, and optimization.

- Familiarity with additional programming languages such as R and experience with documentation practices are considered a plus
