Role Overview

The
Advanced Excel Analyst
will play a pivotal role in managing, analyzing, and presenting data for the Research & Consulting team. This role demands
expert-level Excel proficiency
, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to create efficient dashboards, tools, and reports that support client deliverables and internal decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and automate complex Excel models, templates, and dashboards for research projects.
  • Analyze large datasets and structure them into meaningful insights for the Research team.
  • Work closely with consultants and analysts to support data-heavy deliverables, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Create client-ready reports and visualizations using advanced Excel tools (Power Query, PivotTables, Power Pivot, VBA, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and standardize existing Excel tools and processes.
  • Support the Research team in creating financial models, market sizing, and data validation exercises.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and error-free outputs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Business, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of proven experience
    in advanced Excel-based data analysis and reporting.
  • Expertise in:
  • Advanced formulas (INDEX-MATCH, XLOOKUP, array formulas, etc.)
  • PivotTables, PivotCharts, and slicers
  • Power Query, Power Pivot, and Excel Add-ins
  • VBA/Macros for automation
  • Data visualization in Excel (dashboards, charts, storytelling)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Exposure to market research, consulting, or financial analysis is a plus.
