The role includes planning sports activities, coaching teams, organizing events, and ensuring that all students participate in physical exercises appropriate for their age and abilities.Key Responsibilities:- Plan, organize, and deliver physical education lessons according to the school curriculum.- Teach students about the importance of physical activity, a healthy lifestyle, and sportsmanship.- Conduct fitness assessments and track students’ progress.- Coach and mentor students in various indoor and outdoor sports.- Organize inter-house, inter-school, and annual sports events.- Ensure the safety and proper use of sports equipment and facilities.- Encourage student participation in extracurricular sports and fitness programs.- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education with academic learning.- Maintain records of attendance, performance, and student conduct.- Promote values of teamwork, discipline, respect, and fair play.Qualifications and Skills:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed) or equivalent.- Proven experience as a PE teacher or sports instructor.- Knowledge of a wide range of sports and physical training techniques.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to motivate and inspire students.- Certification in first aid or sports coaching (preferred).- Good organizational and event management skills.Work Environment:- Indoor and outdoor sports facilities.- Requires active involvement in physical activities and sports events.- Occasional travel for inter-school competitions or events.Employment Type: Full-Time
