Profile : Accountant-Finance-Andheri West-Upto 25k Experience: 1-3 Years (preferably in a CA firm) Location: Mumbai - Andheri Role Overview: The Company is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to handle end-to-end accounting operations. The ideal candidate will manage financial data entry, ensure timely reporting, maintain client coordination, and support accurate MIS and tax compliance. This role requires a proactive individual who can take ownership of assigned clients and deliver high-quality, error-free work. Key Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day accounting entries, including sales, purchases, expenses, income, and bank transactions. Maintain and update the stock register (if required by the client). Visit client offices as per the weekly schedule Take regular follow-ups with clients to ensure timely receipt of required documents and information. Take complete ownership of allocated clients and accountability for work completion. Prepare and present MIS reports and ensure timely submission to the senior accountant. Validate financial data by cross-checking documents and entries for accuracy. Make accurate data entries in accounting or decision-making software (like Tally or other tools). Coordinate with tax consultants for rectifications and adjustments in entries. Handle online tax payments in coordination with top management. Maintain Excel sheets to track day-to-day accounting and reporting activities. Fill in as a proxy accountant during colleague absences. Ensure timely and regular reporting to superiors. Carry out any other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned by management. Desired Skills & Competencies Basic understanding of accounting databases Excellent command of accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel). Great attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to collect, track, and analyze large financial datasets. Adaptability and strong problem-solving attitude. Excellent active listening skills. Strong sense of responsibility and time management. Education B.Com / Accounting or Finance degree. Certificate or course completion in Tally or similar accounting software preferred. Required Experience 1+ Years (Preferably in a CA firm) Hands-on experience with accounting software and financial systems.
