Company Description

Learning in Geography, Humanities, Technology, and Science (LIGHTS) has been at the forefront of scientific and climate change education since 2003. The organisation collaborates with high-level scientists to deliver podcasts (GnY LIVE), research publications, books, journals, training and workshops. SaGAA-LIGHTS' impactful conferences and workshops have influenced government policies related to Himalaya-Arctic-Antarctic cryospheric sciences.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role at the BHIKAJI CAMA BHAWAN, R K Puram, New Delhi office for a Research Assistant at LIGHTS. The Research Assistant will be responsible for conducting research, analysis, communicating with the ministries and other organisations and utilising data skills to support various projects and initiatives within the organisation.

  • Strong Communication skills
  • Research experience
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in science communication
  • Master's degree
    in a relevant field such as Geography, Geology, International Relations, Sociology or Anthropology

Salary

3.60 to 4.80 lakh annual take-home.

Fresher

Qualifying candidates who are freshers will be placed on a 2-month LIGHTS Internship & Absorption scheme. During the internship, they will be paid a stipend, and once absorbed, they will draw a salary (amount mentioned above).
