Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced system administrator proficient in development as well. This position combines the responsibilities of a traditional system administrator, managing and maintaining servers, with the ability to write code and develop applications related to WordPress, often focusing on automation, scripting, and integrating systems within the infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and optimize Ubuntu LiteSpeed servers for high-performance WordPress hosting.
  • Ensure server reliability, security, and scalability while hosting multiple WordPress sites.
  • Troubleshoot server-level issues, optimize configurations, and perform regular system updates.
  • Implement robust backup solutions and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Harden server security by maintaining compliance with industry best practices and standards.
  • Proficient in writing scripts to automate tasks, streamline processes, and improve system efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in managing Ubuntu servers and LiteSpeed configurations.
  • Deep expertise in WordPress hosting, including performance tuning and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Proficiency in Linux shell scripting for automation of tasks and processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of server security protocols, SSL management, and firewall configurations.
  • Self-motivated and capable of resolving infrastructure challenges independently.
