Key accountabilities:As a Data Engineer you will be accountable for:Understanding operational needs by collaborating with specialized teamsSupporting key AXA business operations. This involves architecture designing, building and deploying data systems, pipelines etcBuild agile, scalable, and cost efficiency solution on cloud data services.

Technical and professional skills:We are looking for a flexible, fast learning, technically strong Data Engineer. Expertise is required in the following fields:Proficient in Cloud Services –AzureBuild ETL and data movement solutions.Migrate data from traditional database systems to Cloud environmentStrong hands-on experience for working with Streaming datasetBuilding Complex Notebook in Databricks to achieve business Transformations.Hands-on Experience in Data Refinement using Pyspark and Spark SQLFamiliarity with building dataset using Scala.Familiarity with tools such as Jira and GitHubExperience leading agile scrum, sprint planning and review sessionsGood communication and interpersonal skills

Soft skills and competencies:Good communication skills to coordinate between business stakeholders & engineersStrong results-orientation and time managementTrue team player who is comfortable working in a global teamAbility to establish relationships with stakeholders quickly in order to collaborate on use casesAutonomy, curiosity and innovation capabilityComfortable working in a multidisciplinary team within a fast-paced environment

Background and experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field4-6 years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering.
