Role & responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable.
  • Prepare and verify financial statements, balance sheets, P&L accounts, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, taxation, and filing requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
  • Monitor daily banking transactions, reconciliations, and petty cash management.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Implement accounting best practices and maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as an Accountant (4 to 5 years, depending on seniority).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/QuickBooks/ERP) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
