Chief Business Officer (CBO)Leads sales, marketing, distribution, investor engagement and digital initiatives to drive growth and client outcomes.Key Responsibilities:- - Develop and execute business growth strategy.- - Oversee marketing and sales teams.- - Drive digital initiatives and client lifecycle management.- - Collaborate with product and investment teams on go-to-market.Requirements:- - MBA or equivalent in Business/Finance.- - 15+ years in AMC or investment industry leadership.- - Experience scaling businesses and partnerships.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):- - AUM growth rate.- - Client retention and satisfaction (NPS).- - Channel partner expansion.- - Marketing ROI and digital conversion.Reporting Line:Additional Responsibilities- Govern business risks, including distribution and misselling.- Identify and escalate early warning signals and fraud in sales.- Provide input to RO/CEO on distribution risk metrics and appetite.- Update and test risk registers for sales/marketing-related controls.- Report mis-selling cases, negative inspection remarks, and investor suitability breaches.- Govern distribution risks, detect mis-selling, and analyze investor portfolio risk appetite.- Perform periodic RCSA testing, track escalation of frauds, and ensure risk reports are shared with CEO.
