Hiring: Senior Nutanix & VMware Administrator – Mumbai (6+ Years Experience)| Immediate joiners Location: Mumbai, India (On-site) Experience: 6–10 years Job Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Nutanix & VMware Administrator to manage and optimize our virtualized datacenter infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Nutanix HCI, VMware vSphere, AHV/ESXi, storage technologies, and enterprise virtualization best practices. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Nutanix clusters , including AOS upgrades, CVM maintenance, node management, storage configuration, failover testing, and performance tuning. Manage the VMware vSphere environment (vCenter, ESXi hosts, DRS/HA clusters, vMotion, storage management). Perform routine VM provisioning , configuration, optimization, and lifecycle operations. Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to compute, storage, networking, and virtualization layers . Maintain backup and disaster recovery plans using Nutanix Protection Domains, snapshots, replication, or third-party backup tools (Veeam, HYCU, Commvault). Implement and maintain security best practices, access controls, logging, and compliance for Nutanix & VMware environments. Assist with capacity planning, resource optimization, and scalability planning. Generate documentation, SOPs, reports, and mentor junior engineers. Engage with OEM/support vendors for L3 escalations, patching, and problem resolution.
