By extensively leveraging the latest in hardware and software technology, we are also committed to eradicate fake medicines from the Pharma ecosystem that contribute to roughly 30% of drug volumes in India.

Our product innovations have allowed for complete data transparency in the entire Pharma supply-chain to empower even the end-users to validate the authenticity and genuineness of the medicines for every medicine sold, using constructs such as unique barcoding of information like expiry dates, origination of drugs etc.

With our scalable technology and processes, we are now reliably delivering healthcare services and medicines to every single pin code in the country.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Associate Director /Director of Engineering – Supply Engineering to lead the design, development, and scaling of our technology platforms powering pharma e-commerce supply chain. This role will be instrumental in building systems that ensure availability, compliance, fulfillment, and last-mile efficiency in one of the most regulated and high-impact industries.

You will lead a team of engineering managers, architects, and developers to build scalable solutions for inventory management, warehousing, logistics, procurement, vendor integrations, and order fulfillment .

Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership

• Define and execute the engineering vision and roadmap for supply chain platforms.
• Drive architecture and design decisions ensuring scalability, security, compliance (Drug & E-Pharmacy guidelines), and high availability .
• Champion modern engineering practices – CI/CD, microservices, cloud-native systems, event-driven architecture.
• Product & Business Collaboration
• Partner with Product, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to design systems for procurement, vendor management, demand forecasting, warehouse automation, and delivery tracking .
• Build platforms that optimize inventory accuracy, order fill rates, and cold chain compliance .

People Leadership

• Build a culture of ownership, innovation, data-driven decision making, and customer obsession .
• Attract top talent and establish best practices in performance management.

Execution & Delivery

• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of engineering projects.
• Build resilient and fault-tolerant systems capable of handling millions of daily transactions across India .
• Drive cost optimization and efficiency in technology and infrastructure.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 12–18 years in software engineering with at least 5+ years leading engineering organizations at scale .
• Proven success in ecommerce, logistics, or supply chain tech (experience in pharma/healthcare domain is a strong plus).
• Hands-on expertise in distributed systems, cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and APIs/integration platforms .
• Strong track record of delivering large-scale platforms handling real-time data and high transaction volumes .

Key Skills

• Supply Chain & Logistics Platforms (ERP/WMS/TMS/OMS).
• Data Engineering, AI/ML for demand forecasting & inventory optimization .
• Cloud-native architectures, microservices, event-driven systems.
• Deep understanding of security, compliance (HIPAA/GDPR where applicable), and pharma regulations .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
