Function - Custody Operations

Description:The Manager for a crypto custody service is responsible for managing the team of one or two members the financial operations for the Clients.. This includes people management, stakeholder management,

daily operations management, bookkeeping & reconciliation, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crypto currency transaction processing cycle, reconciliation between custody & client account, with experience in the financial services industry and knowledge of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. They will be able to manage and oversee financial operations, develop and implement financial policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Role & Responsibilities:Handling the team of 1 or 2 members which includes the daily operations management without any client escalations.You will be responsible for daily custody operations with zero escalations.You will be responsible for end of the day reconciliation of the client portfolio.You will be responsible for sending daily updated transaction summary/reports to the client.Prepare financial reports and analyses for senior management, board members, and regulatory authorities.Develop and implement financial policies and procedures in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Manage and oversee the financial operations of the client, including financial planning and analysis, budget management, and financial reporting.Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, such as banks and payment processors.Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining all financial records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.Assist and support the internal and external audits.Critical review of findings or significant areas in the financial reports - raise questions involving accounting principles, auditing standards, accounting standards and firm policies.RequirementsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.Between 4 to 7 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the financial services industry. Must be at team lead or deputy manager level in the current role.Should have the people management, stakeholder management experience.Flexible working hours, ready to work on rotational weekoff. Work from the office only for 6 days. Working on public holidays.Experience with cash reconciliation, trade processing, financial planning and analysis, budget management, and financial reporting.Understanding of digital assets along with blockchain technology.Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate financial risks.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and other departments.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail.Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management software.Benefits
