Job Title: Assistant Manager Design QA Department: Quality Assurance Location: Gurgaon Reports To: Head Quality Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Design QA Assistant Manager to ensure design quality is embedded throughout all phases of the hardware and software development lifecycle of the product. The ideal candidate will serve as the Quality point of contact for R&D teams, ensure rigorous quality compliance, and facilitate a seamless transition from design to production, while adhering to regulatory (CEMILAC, RCMA) and various standards like DO-254, MIL-STD-810, JSS-55555, MIL-STD-461. Key Responsibilities: Knowledge of various standards like DO-254, MIL-STD-810, JSS-55555, MILSTD- 461, or similar defense/aerospace quality standards. Act as the primary Quality point of contact during design and development phases, including participation in design and gate reviews. Drive closure of open quality issues from previous reviews and ensure lessons learned are implemented in current and future projects. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Design, Production, and Regulatory(CEMILAC, RCMA) to ensure high-quality deliverables. Conduct and support Product Readiness Reviews (PRR) and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) in alignment with project milestones. Review and verify product and component-level qualification and validation plans, including environmental and reliability testing. Ensure compliance with CEMILAC, RCMA, and other relevant military and aerospace product regulatory requirements. Support Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and ensure effective use of other design quality tools. Facilitate and monitor New Product Introduction (NPI) processes to ensure robust
