Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled React JS Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows such as Redux, Flux, and Webpack. Additionally, experience with Next.js and Tailwind CSS is essential. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving front-end performance and documenting our front-end codebase.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop new user-facing features using React.js
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Write application interface code using JavaScript following React.js workflows
  • Troubleshoot interface software and debug application codes
  • Develop and implement front-end architecture to support user interface concepts
  • Monitor and improve front-end performance
  • Document application changes and develop updates
  • Utilize Next.js for server-side rendering and building static websites
  • Implement and style components using Tailwind CSS


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a React.js Developer or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Knowledge of Next.js and its capabilities, including server-side rendering and static site generation
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS for designing and styling user interfaces

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
  • Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
  • Familiarity with GraphQL
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them
  • Experience with mobile development using React Native
