Key Skills - Technical Writer with Technical BA or Basic coding in Java or .Net or Python.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.
• 6+ years of proven experience in writing technical documentation
• Hands on experience on system documents like system architecture, process flows, API’s, Data Dictionary etc
• Create product documentation for a range of audience groups (system administrators, application developers, and users)
• Develop content ranging from user guides, how-to articles, technical reference (API), concepts, release notes, blogs, training material, and videos
• Has knowledge basic knowledge on coding languages like .NET, Java, Python etc.
• Conceptualize, plan, develop, and write high-quality content
• Help improve existing documentation processes, standards, frameworks, and templates.
• Strong knowledge of industry standard authoring tools, such as Adobe Robohelp, Framemaker, Microsoft Word etc.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, usability, and productivity
• Excellent understanding of the English grammar, style, and writing standards
• Ability to understand software products and their application to business processes
• Ability to work independently with set deadlines and keep multiple projects on track at the same time
• Basic knowledge of Software Development Processes, SaaS, Cloud, and IoT
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment based on the needs of internal teams and customers
• Strong interpersonal skills, good team player, self-motivated and flexible
• Ability to learn about new products, technology, and tools quickly
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Solid grip on documentation publishing software such as Microsoft publisher, Zendesk Guide, Camtasia, SnagIt, and other software
