Job Description


Designation - Assistant Content Manager- Sports & Gaming

The Pinkvilla team is looking for a Content Manager to own and grow content for the Sports and Gaming vertical at Pinkvilla. You will be part of a team of writers and editors that publishes highly engaging content. You will be responsible for growing content to increase the reach and revenue.


About Pinkvilla:

Pinkvilla is one of the largest digital websites in the entertainment, lifestyle, and fashion categories with 30 million unique users and 18 million-plus social media followers.


What do you need to do? (Role and Responsibilities)

● Design the Content strategy for the Sports & Gaming section at Pinkvilla

● Liaise with external and internal stakeholders (Tech, SEO and Content teams) to plan and grow the section

● Benchmark Pinkvilla's content coverage vis-a-vis competition and work on actionable points to provide the best experience to the users while building content authority

● Own P&L and growth responsibilities for the vertical

● Recruit, train, manage and guide a team of writers and editors

● Grow the vertical to meet the monthly page views target

● Suggest topics to writers on a daily basis

● Conduct regular quality analysis and audit of the content on the website.

● Design and deliver the content plan through the team of writers, and editors at your disposal


Who could you be? Background and Experience:

● 4+ years of experience in managing content verticals for large publishers/content companies.

● Experience in Sports & Gaming is preferred

● Strong understanding of SEO (Off-Page, On-Page, Technical)

● Ability to work independently and a proven track record of delivering results

● Growth Mindset, Strong Business Acumen, and Analytical Skills

● Passionate about sports and gaming.

● Energy and passion to create the most engaging content for consumer.
