Location: Kolkata, West Bengal (with extensive travel across Eastern and Western India)Work Experience: Minimum 5 years (social sector experience preferred)Compensation: Annual CTC up to ₹6 LPA (Fixed) + Variable Pay + Commitment BonusLanguage Proficiency: Fluency in English, Hindi, and Bengali (verbal and written)Position SummaryThe HR Manager will play a strategic role in strengthening Switch ON’s human resources function by leading end-to-end recruitment, workforce planning, employee engagement, compliance, and cultural integration. This role is critical to building robust HR systems, improving retention, and creating a people-centric and inclusive workplace aligned with Switch ON’s mission and values.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for all verticals, including senior-level hiringBuild and maintain talent pipelines; forecast workforce needsDesign and execute workforce planning strategies in line with organizational growthOnboarding & Culture Building:Drive smooth onboarding and induction processes for new hiresFacilitate cultural orientation and values-based integration of staffHR Policy & Compliance:Update, implement, and maintain HR policies and documentationEnsure full compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal auditsMonitor and improve HR compliance audit scoresHR Operations & Engagement:Manage grievance redressal systems and conflict resolutionSupport change management, employee engagement, and HR digitizationData & Leadership Reporting:Regularly review HR data and compliance reportsProvide updates and insights to the senior leadership teamQualifications, Experience & SkillsEducational Qualification:Master’s degree (MBA/PGDM) in Human Resource ManagementTechnical Skills:Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office SuiteExperience with AI-based HR tools and digital documentationStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsMindsets and Behavioural Competencies:People-centric, empathetic, and approachableStrategic thinker and proactive problem solverAn inclusive mindset with the ability to handle conflict with maturityReporting StructureReports To: Assistant General Manager – Critical SupportsTravel RequirementsExtensive travel (~30–40%) across Eastern and Western IndiaCompensationAnnual CTC: Up to ₹6 LPA (Fixed)Additional Variable Pay + Commitment Bonus (based on qualifications, experience, and last drawn salary)Reimbursements: Official travel, stay, and logistics as per organizational policyApplication ProcessTo apply, please complete the application form and upload your CV and cover letter via the following link: TGo Jeumh Fe SKkj8About Switch ON FoundationEstablished in 2008, Switch ON Foundation is a pioneering non-profit organization committed to driving sustainable development through innovative solutions in climate-resilient agriculture, clean energy, green livelihoods, and industry decarbonization.
