Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced
PHP Team Lead / Senior Developer
to lead our development team and oversee the full lifecycle of web application development. This role involves hands-on coding, team management, system architecture, and ensuring the stability and security of critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews.
  • Architect, design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and relevant frameworks.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
  • Manage server configurations, deployments, backups, and ensure application security and performance.
  • Define coding standards, enforce best practices, and ensure code quality and reusability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Handle version control with Git and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor server health and ensure 24/7 uptime for critical applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in PHP development with at least 2 years in a senior or team lead role.
  • Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, and frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or Opencart.
  • Proficiency in REST APIs, AJAX, and third-party integrations.
  • Solid knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • Hands-on experience in server management (Linux, Apache/Nginx, VPS, cPanel, SSL, firewalls, etc.).
  • Knowledge of domain booking, renewal, and DNS activities.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Git, version control systems, and deployment tools.
