About This Role
tsworks Technologies India Private Limited is seeking driven and motivated Senior Data Architect to join its Digital Services Team. You will get hands-on experience with projects employing industry-leading technologies. This would initially be focused on the operational readiness and maintenance of existing applications and would transition into a build and maintenance role in the long run.

Experience: 8+ Years
Location: Bengaluru, India
Mandatory Required Qualification
8+ Years of hands-on experience in Information Technology, with 5+ years of experience designing and executing data solutions.
Excellent at client facing role and communication skills.
Hands-on experience building data solutions using Python, SQL and Spark
Experience building data solutions using with Snowflake or Databricks in Azure Cloud.
In This Role, You Will
Develop and maintain a robust data architecture strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. Define data models, schemas, and storage solutions for structured and unstructured data.
Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to support data storage, processing, and analytics needs.
Design and implement data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and integrating data from various sources into the cloud data environment.
Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Establish access controls, encryption, and auditing mechanisms.
Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices. Ensure data quality, consistency, and lineage.
Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, errors, and inefficiencies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and provide data solutions that meet their needs.
Monitor and manage cloud resource costs effectively, optimizing the usage of cloud services to reduce overall TCO for internal as well as client data platform.
Integrate disparate data models across the company into one enterprise-wide Unified Data Platform design.
Drive culture of standardization in data transformation and analytic logic.
Some travel required (approx. 20%).
Interaction with software engineering and DBA teams in order to understand their database requirements for new products or features.
Participates in prototyping and proof of concept system development and benchmarking.
Plan and implement backup and recovery strategies.
Plan and provide operational oversight in database maintenance with minimal impact to customers.
Participates in code reviews, ensuring best practices are followed.
Identify and resolve production issues and participate in debugging and root cause analysis.
Skills & Knowledge
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
Proficiency in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases).
Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and data integration techniques.
Familiarity with data modeling tools and concepts, implementation, and management of OLTP and OLAP systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
Certification in relevant cloud platforms or data management technologies is a plus.
Experience in Azure Data Factory or other cloud based ETL tools solutioning and development is a plus.
Hands-on experience working in an agile setting.
Self-driven, naturally curious, and able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Be able to articulate, create, and maintain technical and non-technical documentation.
