Knowledge Management Analyst – Digital Transformation

You will be part of the KIM (Knowledge and Information Management) team of Saint-Gobain Research India (SGRI) India providing services and tools to ensure that other employees can access and make the most of internal and external knowledge and information. We are currently working on the digital transformation of our library to provide both content and tools and services for the retrieval, access, and use of online information. We are also developing our range of services to strengthen our knowledge management function and collaboration capabilities.


In your role as Knowledge Management Analyst, you will be part of the dynamic and service-oriented KIM team responsible for:


Responsibilities:

  • Audit and review existing information and knowledge management procedures, practices, documentation, documents, tools, platforms, and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of web development technologies with mid-level knowledge of programming languages, and DBMS & CMS.
  • Redefining and supporting our knowledge management digital roadmap and promoting the knowledge-sharing culture through regular and innovative actions.
  • Design and maintain knowledge repositories/databases, and collaborative platforms tailored to the needs of R&D, ensuring ease of access and efficient retrieval of information.
  • Facilitate and assist our R&D and business by helping our experts by performing information retrieval using appropriate tools and systems. The candidate should also participate in web application development based on the needs of the R&D in shaping the digital roadmap.
  • Collaborate with the IT development team and other departments to ensure alignment between knowledge management systems and organizational technology infrastructure.


Essential:

  • BE/ME/MTECH/MS (IT/CSE)
  • Proven experience in database management, web application tool development, DBMS and CMS, knowledge management, or a related field within an R&D or technical environment.
  • In addition to the above, a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in information systems and knowledge management using IT tools with hands-on experience in data tool development and AI tools is an added advantage.


Desired:

  • Experience in managing technical, business, economic, or financial information resources.
  • Professional experience with integrated knowledge management systems.
  • Advanced level skills in MySql, Apache, Perl, HTML, Python, R, and other AI tools.
