Job Overview


We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Trade Show Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, organizing, and traveling to major trade shows across India to recruit clients, raise brand awareness, and showcase Trademarkia India’s services. You will play a critical role in representing our brand at events and ensuring smooth execution of all trade show activities.


Key Responsibilities


1. Trade Show Identification & Planning


• Research and identify at least two major trade shows per month across India focused on Indian entrepreneurship and startups, along with one Chennai or Bangalore local trade show.

• Plan, budget, and organize all logistics related to trade show participation, including registrations, booth setup, and materials.


2. Travel & Event Management


• Travel across India by flight or rail to attend trade shows.

• Carry and manage trade show equipment (up to 50 pounds).

• Set up and manage the Trademarkia booth, ensuring an engaging and professional presentation.


3. Brand Representation


• Represent Trademarkia India’s services effectively to potential clients.

• Build relationships with event attendees, distribute promotional materials, and collect leads for follow-up.


4. Collaboration


• Coordinate with company employees and advocates attending larger trade shows.

• Work closely with the marketing team to align trade show messaging with company branding and goals.


5. Proactive Outreach


• Develop and execute strategies to maximize client engagement and lead generation at trade shows.

• Provide feedback to the team on trade show performance and potential opportunities for improvement.

• Demonstrate Return on Investment to management team.


Qualifications


• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Events Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

• 1-5 years of experience in events management, trade show organization, or related roles.

• Prior experience with university or corporate-level event planning is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently.

• Willingness to travel extensively across India.

• Ability to handle trade show equipment and manage booth setup.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
